Fancier FT-6222A Aluminium Tripod
This is a tripod that I have had for about a year now, but was in need of a replacement. With a price tag short of £40, you really can't knock it. The problem was that I had lost the screw for the ball head and that the bottom clasps had rusted up through no fault but my own (lesson learnt). I love the ball head, the soft grip and the size! However, I also ran into a problem with my replacement before I even got round to using it. I was setting up a shot at the beach and the leg simply pulled out from it's socket. Thankfully, the seller didn't hesitate to send me another that I am yet to have a problem with.
Swees 25,600mAh Power Bank
This is basically a portable battery pack for charging phones, tablets etc and I bought it for piece of mind when travelling in the future! What interested me about it is that it has a capacity of 25,600mAh. Meaning that, theoretically, I could recharge my phone up to 13 times. Plus, you can recharge a Sony mirrorless camera system up to 24 times! I purchased the power bank from Amazon for £25.99 + P&P... That's £64 off the RRP! All that said, I wasn't expecting it to be so big and heavy. The dimensions are 5.94 x 4.21 x 0.63 inches and it's a meaty 465g - quite significant when carried in a bag of other tech and camera equipment. I skimmed through the instructions and became immediately concerned about it's durability to. It read, "keep the product away from extreme heat or cold." Nothing too serious and probably just covering themselves, but it did make me think about how well it will hold up in relatively cold environments and how safe it is in hot sunshine (considering it is black). However, the pros definitely out weigh the cons, especially because of how easy it is to use and the smart USB ports that detect an appropriate voltage to charge each device. The power bank has a charge rate of up to 4.5V which is fairly impressive when compared to other products on the market and for the price.
